Green Tip of the Week: firing up citrus peels

I’ve been juicing lately and I’m always left with the peel from my orange or grapefruit. Instead of throwing them out I toss them into my fireplace to add a citrus scent into the air. Plus they help keep the fire going. Another idea is to zest your fruit before removing the peel and freeze portions for future recipes. A bit time-consuming I know but if you got the time……
